“Dear Jeff Doyle, I wanted to write a letter thanking you and your team, Jeff F. and Kim V. for the smooth construction of a very complicated architecturally designed custom home with advanced energy efficiency features. We reached our target of passive house air infiltration standards. The home energy use is about 20 kWh a day in the summer and about 50 kWh per day in the winter, and this includes 7-9 kWh a day charging my car. My energy bills are running about 60-80$ a month in the summer and 120-150$ a month in the winter with car charging. Frequent communication and meetings with budget updates kept us on track through the entire process. Your subs were all very professional. The framing and the finishing carpentry were outstanding. Dream Kitchens in Brighton designed my dream kitchen. Follow up after certificate of occupancy was timely and complete through the one year warranty. The house is a joy to live in. I think you have a gift for understanding the complexity of energy efficient construction. I hope your team continues to integrate these efficiency features into future projects.
